After making her feature film acting debut in Ang Lee's Ride With the Devil, singer Jewel will now star in Wave, an independent film project she is developing and producing through her Gravitas Entertainment alongside Goldie Hawn's Clearlight Productions.
The film is about a mother reconnecting with her adult son after spending time in jail for a crime of passion committed when he was a child. Jewel will take on the strong supporting role of the son's girlfriend.
