Jesse Dylan (American Wedding) is in talks to direct Let's Make Friends, a comedy about male bonding being produced by De Line Pictures for Paramount.
The comedy revolves around a man in his 30s whose life is perfect, except he lacks a best friend. His quest leads him to a water delivery guy, who promptly turns the man's life upside down and imperils his relationship with his wife.
Dylan, son of Bob Dylan, made his feature directing debut with Universal's "How High" in 2001. U opens "American Wedding" Aug. 1.
"Friends" originated as a pitch that De Line set up with scripter Larry Levin with Harold Ramis attached to direct. The most recent draft was penned by Peter Tolan.
